RKL4350 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The RKL4350 is a pre-assembled motor power cable produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It links a servo controller to its matched motor, supplying three-phase power and signal pairs for temperature monitoring in automated axes. The cable is intended for moving-chain installation, so its geometry, insulation, and connectors are selected to withstand continuous flexing in industrial robotics, gantries, and handling modules. Its pre-assembled design also provides ready-to-use end connections for direct integration into compatible drive and motor interfaces.

The mechanical service life of the cable is rated for 5,000,000 bending cycles, indicating how many flexing movements it can withstand before conductor fatigue becomes critical. During motion, the copper bundle may be bent to a dynamic radius of 7.5×D, which supports compact routing inside cable carriers. Power conductors and twisted signal pairs are arranged as 4x2.5 mm² + 2x(2x1.0 mm²)StC, so both drive current and thermal sensor leads are integrated in one sheath. The assembly handles a continuous operating voltage of 300/500 V, matching typical low-voltage servo systems, and its circular jacket measures 14.8 mm in outside diameter for cable-chain separators or conduit glands.

The bulk cable used for this model is classified as INK0602, and the molded controller plug carries the connector code RLS0722 for direct insertion into drive modules, while the motor side terminates with an RLS1207 plug. The outer jacket is extruded from PUR, a material chosen for abrasion resistance and oil tolerance, and it is explicitly halogen-free to limit toxic gas release during a fire. When the cable is fixed, it may bend to a 5×D radius without exceeding insulation strain, and the conductor insulation tolerates 80 °C during motion or 90 °C in static routing. These thermal limits support use near warm servo housings in high-duty applications.
