The RKL4348 cable is a ready-terminated motor power lead manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It links drive controllers to motors, carrying phase, brake, and sensor conductors in a single jacket so that machine builders can route one assembly instead of multiple loose wires. In automated handling axes, the cable transfers power while tolerating continuous motion inside cable chains, ensuring predictable electrical behavior during high-cycle operation.

For flex applications, the cable endures 5,000,000 carrier cycles, a rating that quantifies the expected life before conductor fatigue. A dynamic bend requirement of 7.5xD states the minimum bend radius permitted while the machine is running; tighter loops would stress the copper. Main phases occupy a cross-section of 4.0 mm², providing current capacity for typical Indramat servo drives, while brake lines are sized at 2 x 1.5 mm² so the holding brake can be released without excessive voltage drop. Integrated encoder evaluation is supported by twin sensor pairs sized at 2 x 1.0 mm². The assembly is supplied as a ready-made power cable, which eliminates on-site termination inconsistencies.
