The RKL4346 cable is a motor power lead produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It establishes the electrical path between an IndraDrive controller and its matched servo motor, delivering three-phase power while also carrying auxiliary control conductors needed at the motor end. In automated lines with repeated axis movement, using a dedicated power cable keeps encoder and brake wiring in separate harnesses, which reduces crosstalk, supports stable signal routing, and helps the machine layout stay organized in cable tracks. This arrangement is common on servo axes where motion is frequent and cable movement must remain predictable over long production cycles.

Mechanical durability is rated for 5 million bending cycles when the cable is used in drag chains. For static runs, the minimum bend radius is 5 × D, and during continuous motion it must stay above 7.5 × D to limit conductor fatigue and jacket stress. The copper in the power cores has a resistance of 7.98 ?/km, which helps reduce voltage drop over typical machine lengths. The auxiliary pairs use 1.0 mm² conductors, while the three power conductors are sized at 2.5 mm² to balance flexibility with current-carrying capacity for medium-frame servo motors. A matte, adhesion-free PUR jacket resists oil, abrasion, and welding spatter, helping the cable retain reliable insulation in industrial environments.

Interface hardware is molded to the cable ends, with the controller side terminating in a RLS0721 (K03) quick-lock connector and the motor side using a keyed RLS1108 (C03) plug. The power cores are rated for 300/500 V under VDE rules, while the auxiliary conductors carry control signals at 300/300 V. An overall diameter of 14.8 mm lets the assembly pass through standard energy-chain separators with minimal snagging and supports compact routing in moving machine sections. Its drag-chain construction tolerates lateral acceleration without jacket tearing, and the single-cable assembly keeps power and auxiliary conductors in one sheath instead of requiring separate conduit pieces.
