The RKL4344 is a motor power cable produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It is intended for moving-axis servo assemblies, where it carries three-phase motor power together with auxiliary conductors between the drive controller and the motor. The cable suits gantries, pick-and-place units, and linear stages that require repeated motion without interrupting power delivery. This arrangement reduces the need for separate external leads on compact axes and helps keep moving cable bundles manageable during repetitive travel.

Mechanically, the cable is rated for 5 million flex cycles and requires a minimum bend radius of 5 x D in fixed routing to reduce conductor stress. An outer diameter of 25.5 mm helps determine carrier spacing, and a conductor resistance of 1.21 ?/km limits voltage drop over longer runs. The specified diameter also helps maintain clearance in cable carriers so the jacket is less likely to rub adjacent cables during motion. The controller end is fitted with connector RLS0721/K16, which provides a keyed interface for secure installation. The assembly uses bulk cable INK0606 and includes auxiliary pairs for brake or sensor circuits, so power and secondary functions can share the same cable path.

For moving applications, the cable uses a minimum dynamic bend radius of 7.5 x D so it can flex while energized in an energy chain. The motor end uses connector RLS1301/C16 for direct mating with compatible Rexroth motor housings. Its jacket is made of PUR (adhesion-free, matte), and the orange RAL 2003 surface improves visibility in crowded machine layouts. The matte surface also reduces sticking in cable chains when oil or coolant mist is present. Coupling capacitance is 1.2 nF/m, and the single sheath carries both power conductors and auxiliary pairs to keep routing compact while brake release or sensor signals remain in the same moving cable.
