RKL4340 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The RKL4340 motor power cable is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as part of the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It serves as the power link between an IndraDrive inverter and a servo or spindle motor, carrying three-phase power and auxiliary control signals required for closed-loop motion tasks. The design is intended for stationary or linear-axis routing, and it is not suitable for torsional loading in cable chains.

With an overall diameter of 25.5 mm, the cable fits standard gland plates while still providing four copper conductors arranged in a 4x16.0 mm² format for the main phases. During continual flexing, the dynamic bend limit is 7.5 x D, and in fixed installations the static bend limit is 5 × D. The insulation system withstands up to 600 V AC, and the conductors have a resistance of 1.21 ?/km at 20 °C, which helps reduce voltage drop over longer runs. A discharge capacitance of 1.2 nF/m and the screened control pair 2×(2×1.5 mm²) StC support low-noise brake release or temperature-sensor circuits, while the INK0606 bulk construction keeps capacitance consistent along the cable length.

Termination is handled by the factory-crimped RLS1301/C16 motor-side plug and the matching RLS1302/C16 drive-side plug, so field-assembled terminations are not required. The outer sheath is molded from PUR, which provides abrasion resistance and oil tolerance, and its high-visibility RAL 2003 (Orange) color makes routing easier to identify inside crowded cabinets. Because the cable is intended for linear motion rather than twisting service, it should be installed where the routing path does not impose torsional stress. Internal shielding, 1.2 nF/m capacitance, and the INK0606 core geometry help maintain stable EMC performance for servo axes that require precise current regulation.
