RKL4337 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The RKL4337 power cable is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the RKL Motor Power Cables series. Designed as the dedicated motor-side supply lead, it carries three-phase power and auxiliary lines between a drive controller and a Rexroth servo motor in automated machinery. Its construction supports continuous-motion carriers, so the cable can be routed through drag chains during repetitive axis travel. It is intended for systems that combine moving axes with compact cable routing and repeated directional changes.

The cable is rated for more than 5,000,000 flex cycles in energy-chain tracks used on pick-and-place arms and linear stages. For moving runs, the minimum dynamic bend radius is 7.5 × D, and fixed routing permits a tighter minimum of 5 × D. A PUR (matte) sheath resists oils and coolants while maintaining low friction against carrier separators. The jacket color is RAL 2003 (orange), which makes the cable easier to identify in wiring bundles. The design is approved for drag-chain use, so the insulation and shielding remain stable during rapid acceleration and reversal. Low-friction jacket behavior also helps reduce rubbing against carrier separators during continuous travel.

The bulk conductor set uses cable type INK0603 and comes with preassembled industrial connectors. On the motor side, the bayonet plug is RLS1301/C06, while the drive end uses RLS1302/C06 for keyed alignment and tool-free locking. Three power cores use a cross-section of 4.0 mm² to carry phase current, and the protective conductor uses the same gauge. The brake pair uses 1.0 mm² leads, and the temperature-sensor pair uses 1.5 mm² leads. These conductors are combined in one assembly, which keeps routing organized between the motor and the drive. The keyed connector arrangement also helps the cable seat correctly in compact mounting spaces.
