RKL4334 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The RKL4334 is a motor power cable produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and supplied within the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It is intended to transfer drive power and auxiliary control signals between a Rexroth controller and a matched servo motor. Its flexible construction withstands continuous motion inside cable chains and robotic axes used in industrial automation cells.

This cable is rated for 5,000,000 flexing cycles, so it tolerates long service in high-duty drag-chain runs. Motion is further supported by a dynamic bending radius of 7.5 × D, which limits mechanical stress on the copper conductors during travel. The three-phase power cores use a cross-section of 35.0 mm², giving low impedance over extended lengths, and their loop resistance is only 0.554 ?/km. The overall diameter measures 30.8 mm, allowing routing through standard energy-guiding channels while still accommodating the internal control pair, shield layers, and PUR sheath. The orange jacket follows RAL 2003 for clear identification, and the controller end is terminated with an RLS0724/K35 plug while the motor end carries an RLS1301/C35 connector.

A static bending radius of 5 × D applies when the machine is at rest, helping installers meet strain-relief rules inside control cabinets. The power cores are insulated for 600 V AC operation, aligning with common servo inverter outputs, and the twin control wires provide brake or temperature signals through a separate 1.5 mm² pair. The matte, adhesion-free sheath is manufactured from PUR (adhesion-free, matte), so chips and lubricants do not stick to the cable surface. A capacitive load of 1.2 nF/m is specified, which helps keep the cable suitable for fast switching frequencies. Continuous shielding runs through the length of the cable and connects directly to each molded circular connector to support EMI control.
