RKL4333 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The RKL4333 cable is a motor power and feedback lead manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and assigned to the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It links Indramat servo controllers to matched synchronous motors, carrying three-phase power along with auxiliary control cores so that motion axes receive both drive current and sensor reference signals in a single bundled line. In automated production cells, the assembly simplifies routing between cabinet drives and moving machine elements, especially where cable paths pass through tracks that impose continuous flexing.

Mechanical endurance is a primary attribute of this model, and its flex-rated sheath withstands up to 5,000,000 bending cycles when routed inside a dynamic cable track. During motion, the conductors may bend to a radius as tight as 7.5 x D, which is the minimum loop permitted in moving applications. The controller end terminates with the compact bayonet connector type RLS0724/K25, while the control pair inside the bundle uses a cross-section of 1.5 mm² and is insulated for 300 V AC signaling. A polyurethane outer jacket of PUR resists abrasion, oils, and weld splatter, and its halogen-free composition reduces toxic combustion products. The cable is suitable for drag-chain service, allowing continuous reciprocating travel without loss of electrical integrity.

Power transmission is handled by 4 main conductors, each sized at 25.0 mm², enabling the assembly to deliver up to 600 V AC from the drive to the motor without excessive voltage drop. On the motor end, a keyed RLS1301/C25 plug provides secure locking against vibration. When the machine is at rest, the line should be laid with a static bending radius no tighter than 5 x D to protect the copper strands from cold-work fatigue. Power and control paths are kept separate within the cable bundle.
