RKL4331 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The RKL4331 cable is a ready-made motor power lead produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat in the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It joins a drive controller to its matched servo motor, carrying phase conductors, protective earth, and an auxiliary pair in one assembly for moving automation equipment. Because the motor power and auxiliary conductors are grouped in one jacket, the cable keeps the cabinet-to-motor connection compact and reduces loose wiring along the axis. Built on the INK0607 bulk cable platform, it is intended for drag-chain routing where repeated flexing and stable power delivery are required.

Mechanical endurance is rated for a service life of 5,000,000 bending cycles under dynamic motion. During each flex, the conductor bundle may curve to a minimum dynamic radius of 7.5 x D, while a fixed installation may use a tighter 5 x D bend. Power conductors use a cross-section of 25.0 mm² for the main motor supply, while the two-wire auxiliary pair uses 1.5 mm² for brake or sensor functions. Maintaining these bend radii helps limit jacket stress and reduces twisting forces at the connector ends during travel. This conductor arrangement separates high-current delivery from low-power auxiliary circuits and helps the cable remain suitable for repetitive movement.

The electrical interface uses a drive-side RLS0723/K25 connector and a motor-side RLS1301/C25 plug, both factory terminated to keep shielding and phase assignment consistent. This layout is suited to axes that reverse direction often, where connector stability matters as much as conductor flexibility. Conductive elements remain reliable from a maximum ambient temperature of 80 °C down to -30 °C, allowing use near warm equipment or in cooler production areas. A green-yellow protective earth conductor that matches the 25.0 mm² power core size provides the grounding path required by compatible drives and motors. The finished assembly supports low-resistance grounding and stable power transfer across the full cable route.
