RKL4330 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The RKL4330 is a motor power cable produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It serves as the primary electrical link between an Indramat drive controller and a servo motor, delivering three-phase power together with auxiliary signals used by brake and thermal monitoring circuits in automated machines. By combining main and auxiliary conductors inside one flexible sheath, the assembly reduces separate cable runs while preserving the electrical isolation needed for stable drive operation. A single cable path also helps keep routing more orderly around the motor connection point. It can be routed through machine frames, energy chains, or other protected paths without splitting power and auxiliary functions into separate assemblies.

The cable uses four main conductors with a cross-section of 16.0 mm², while four auxiliary cores are rated at 1.5 mm² for control functions. Repetitive motion is supported by a dynamic bending radius of 7.5 × D, and fixed routing allows a static bending radius of 5 × D. The sheath is rated for 5,000,000 flex cycles, making the assembly suitable for cable carriers and other moving installations. These limits help maintain conductor integrity during constant travel and reduce the chance of insulation damage over long operating periods. The combination of large power cores and flexible routing supports servo axes that reverse often during normal machine operation.

The bulk cable is identified as INK0606 and is terminated with a controller-side connector RLS0723/K16 and a motor-side connector RLS1301/C16. Operation is permitted up to 80 °C, and the cable can also be stored in colder areas before installation. The preassembled connector arrangement removes the need for separate connector assembly during installation and keeps the electrical interface consistent at both ends. That format is helpful where cabinet space is limited or cable paths are difficult to reach after the machine is assembled. It also reduces handling of individual contacts during setup.
