RKL4329 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The RKL4329 power lead is supplied by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It is a flexible motor supply cable intended to link a servo controller to a rotary or linear actuator in automated machinery. By combining motor phases and auxiliary conductors in one sheath, the assembly simplifies routing while maintaining the shielding and conductor sizing needed for stable drive operation. This format also reduces the number of separate cable runs that must move with an axis and helps keep routing more orderly inside machine frames.

The cable is the power cable variant of the basic model, so its cores are sized primarily for energy delivery. A service life of 5,000,000 bending cycles supports constant motion in drag-chain applications. The bundle contains 8 conductors: three power lines, a protective ground, and four auxiliaries. That layout allows one cable to carry the main motor supply together with supporting functions instead of requiring separate auxiliary wiring. Auxiliary cores 5 and 6 use 1.0 mm² conductors, while cores 7 and 8 use 1.5 mm² conductors for brake release or sensor power. Each phase conductor has a cross-section of 10.0 mm² to carry motor current with low voltage drop.

When the cable is moving, the minimum bending radius is 7.5 × D, while fixed installation can use a 5 × D bend radius. The controller end uses an RLS0723/K10 connector, and the motor end uses an RLS1301/C10 connector; both ends use bayonet locking to resist vibration. The allowable operating temperature range is -30 °C to 80 °C, and the same range applies during storage. The cable uses bulk type INK0605, and its basic construction includes a tinned copper braid over the insulated conductors to help limit electrical interference during operation. The braid also adds coverage around the inner conductors during continuous motion.
