RKL4327 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The RKL4327 cable is a flexible motor power lead produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It transfers drive output to a servo motor while also carrying low-current control pairs, so it serves as a combined connection between a controller and a moving axis in industrial automation. Its construction is intended for continuously moving drag-chain routes found on gantries, pick-and-place units, and linear stages where long service life and predictable electrical behavior are required.

Chain duty endurance is rated at 5,000,000 bending cycles, indicating that the jacket and conductors can flex that many times without fatigue. During motion, the minimum bend radius must remain wider than 7.5 × D, and when the machine is idle, the cable may rest at a tighter 5 × D curve. An overall diameter of 17.0 mm sets the size for strain-relief clamps and energy-chain shelves. The conductor set uses four 4.0 mm² power cores, two 1.0 mm² leads, and two 1.5 mm² leads, providing the power wire size needed for medium-frame servo motors. This arrangement helps limit loop resistance in the main cores, while the smaller leads handle sensor or brake functions. The bundle's DC resistance is held to 4.95 ?/km for the power group, supporting voltage stability over long runs. The cable ships from the factory in bulk form as INK0603 for cut-to-length processing.

Capacitive coupling between phases is controlled by a line-to-shield value of 0.8 nF/m, which helps reduce drive-induced common-mode noise. A matte, adhesion-free sheath made of PUR (adhesion-free, matte) resists oil and weld spatter, and it is colored orange for quick identification in control cabinets. At the motor end, a keyed RLS1301/C06 connector mates directly to Rexroth MSK and MKE servos. The control-cabinet side terminates with a compact RLS0722/K04 plug that latches into IndraDrive power modules. This connector arrangement supports secure routing between the cabinet and the motor in moving-axis applications.
