The RKL4326 is a motor power cable produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and supplied within the RKL Motor Power Cables series. This prefabricated assembly routes three-phase drive power and auxiliary control signals between Rexroth servo motors and their drives in automated machinery. By integrating matched connectors, shielding, and flexible jacket compounds, the cable maintains signal integrity and mechanical reliability during continuous axis motion. In factory automation, it connects moving carriages to stationary cabinets without compromising electromagnetic compatibility. Because the connectors are factory attached, the cable can also be fitted in installations where space around the motor and drive is limited.

The cable supports 5,000,000 bending cycles, so it can be installed in cable tracks that articulate at high frequency. It is intended for drag-chain use, and the outer jacket resists abrasion, oil, and cutting fluids during repeated movement. The jacket contributes to an overall diameter of 14.8 mm, which suits compact energy chains while still protecting the internal cores. Power conductors with a cross-section of 2.5 mm² carry servo current, while separate 1.0 mm² control conductors handle brake or temperature functions. A PUR sheath adds flexibility, and a total shield surrounds the cable bundle to reduce radiated noise in multi-axis installations. This arrangement is useful on gantries, transfer units, and other axes where the cable bends in a controlled path throughout normal machine travel.

The copper stranding exhibits a resistance of 7.98 ?/km at 20 °C, which helps limit voltage drop on typical machine lengths. For capacitive loading calculations, the cable's pair-to-pair discharge capacity is 0.7 nF/m, which can be used when matching the cable to the drive output stage. Factory-mounted connectors simplify installation: the motor end terminates in an RLS1301 plug, and the inverter end uses an RLS0722 receptacle with a quarter-turn bayonet lock. These keyed interfaces maintain shielding continuity and strain relief during repeated motion. The bayonet-style connection also helps resist loosening from vibration during axis travel.
