RKL4325 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The RKL4325 cable is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It is a flexible motor power and control cable used to connect servo drives to motors in automated machinery. By combining power and signal conductors in one jacket, it reduces the need for separate cable runs and helps keep moving cable packages compact. This layout is useful in assembly lines, packaging equipment, and gantry systems where the cable must move repeatedly without losing electrical stability.

The cable has a rated operating voltage of 600 V AC, making it suitable for low-voltage three-phase motor feeds. Its three power cores each use a cross-section of 1.5 mm², which supports motor current transfer while keeping the cable flexible enough for motion applications. An outer diameter of 12.2 mm allows the cable to fit common clamp sizes and routing hardware in machine assemblies. For continuous motion, it is rated for 5 million bending cycles and requires a dynamic bend radius of 7.5 × D when installed in an energy chain. The controller end uses an RLS0722/K02 plug and the motor end uses an RLS1301/C03 plug, and the assembly is built on bulk cable type INK0650.

The internal control pair uses a cross-section of 0.75 mm² for brake or signal transmission. In stationary routing, the cable can be bent to a minimum static radius of 5 × D without overstressing the conductors. The jacket compound is Halogen-free, which helps reduce corrosive gas formation if the cable is exposed to fire. Its outer sheath is made of PUR (adhesion-free, matte), a material chosen for resistance to oil and weld spatter while also helping the cable slide cleanly in moving guides. The orange jacket color improves visibility along the machine frame, and the cable is approved for drag-chain use in repetitive motion paths.
