RKL4323 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The RKL4323 is a dedicated motor power cable produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and assigned to the RKL Motor Power Cables series. Intended for moving-axis installations, it transfers inverter output to a synchronous or induction motor while tolerating continuous motion in cable carriers used in automated cells and assembly lines. Factory-installed connectors and the matching conductor layout allow direct connection to compatible Rexroth drive systems. This arrangement supports stable three-phase power delivery where repeated travel and constant machine movement are part of normal operation.

With an endurance rating of 5,000,000 bending cycles, the cable is suited for long service in drag-chain applications. For dynamic runs, the minimum bend radius is 7.5 × D, which helps protect the shield and insulation from cracking during repeated motion. The outside diameter is 18.5 mm, which is useful when selecting clamps and conduit space. Copper cores have a DC resistance of 3.30 ?/km at 20 °C, helping limit voltage drop over longer lengths. Between the conductors and shield, the cable has a discharge capacitance of 0.8 nF/m, which affects the electrical behavior seen by the drive output.

Each phase conductor has a cross-section of 6.0 mm², allowing current levels commonly used by medium-frame servo motors without excessive heating. For fixed routing, the permitted bend radius is 5 × D, which allows tighter installation than moving applications. The outer sheath is made of PUR, giving the cable good abrasion resistance and oil tolerance, and the jacket uses RAL 2003 orange for quick visual identification. On the controller side, the keyed power plug is RLS0721/K06, and the motor end uses an RLS1301/C06 connector to complete the power connection. This layout helps separate the power cable from nearby feedback and control wiring during installation.
