RKL4319 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The RKL4319 is a motor power cable assembly produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the RKL Motor Power Cables series. Its role is to carry motor power between the drive and the connected servo motor in industrial motion systems. It is intended for fixed or continuously moving cable tracks. In these installations, drives and servo motors need a dedicated power link that withstands repetitive flexing, temperature variation, and moderate industrial voltages.

This assembly is built from 18.5 mm outer-diameter bulk cable designated as INK0604. Factory-molded terminations place an RLS1201/C06 connector on the motor end and an RLS1202/C06 connector on the drive side, which avoids field crimping. The molded ends also keep the connection geometry consistent at both mating points. The conductor set supports 300/500 V operation, so the same harness can serve low-power or medium-power inverter outputs. Copper paths exhibit a resistance of 3.30 ?/km, allowing loss calculations for long runs, while the insulation system is suited to both moving and stationary routing in compact enclosure or gantry installations.

The mechanical life is rated for 5,000,000 flex cycles, matching high-duty linear axes that operate nonstop through multishift production. During motion, the jacket may curve to a dynamic radius of 7.5 × D, and in fixed layouts it can be clamped to a static radius of 5 × D; both values reference the nominal diameter for predictable strain relief. These bending limits matter where the cable repeatedly travels through carriers or remains fixed near the motor housing. A maximum fixed conductor temperature of 90 °C safeguards the insulation against thermal aging when the cable is routed near warm motors or within sealed cabinets. Flexible operation uses a lower temperature limit than static routing, which helps separate moving-duty use from fixed installation conditions.
