RKL4314 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The RKL4314 is a ready-made motor power cable produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It delivers three-phase energy and protective earth between Rexroth drives and servomotors, supporting moving-axis machinery in assembly lines, gantries, and pick-and-place stations. Factory-terminated connectors remove on-site crimping and shorten installation time, while the cable's design supports consistent electrical performance during rapid, repetitive motion in industrial automation. Its preassembled format also helps maintain connector consistency on axes that cycle frequently and rely on stable power delivery over long travel paths.

Rated for 5,000,000 flex cycles, the RKL4314 is intended for continuous-motion cable carriers. During dynamic movement, the minimum bend radius is 7.5 × D, so carrier routing can be planned around the cable's outer diameter, while the main three-phase cores each have a 4.0 mm² cross-section to support servo currents without excessive voltage drop. Copper loss along lengthy tracks is further limited by the low conductor resistance of 4.95 ?/km. A rugged PUR sheath resists oil, coolant, and abrasion, and it encloses a green-yellow protective-earth core together with pre-assembled RLS1201 (C04) and RLS0721 (K04) connectors that mate directly with compatible Rexroth motor and drive housings. The underlying bulk cable designation is INK0603.

For fixed routing, the bend requirement relaxes to 5 × D, allowing tighter cabinet installation. The full bundle measures an outer diameter of 17.0 mm, so conduit and gland hardware can be selected without unnecessary oversizing. For encoder power or brake release lines, the cable integrates 2x1.0 mm² + 2x1.5 mm² auxiliary conductors that remain isolated from the power trio, allowing secondary motor functions to be served without a separate cable run. Visual identification in the field is simplified by the RAL 2003 (Orange) jacket, while the GNYE protective-earth marking on the PE core follows IEC color conventions and aids continuity checks before the axis is energized.
