RKL4312 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The RKL4312 is an industrial motor power cable produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the RKL Motor Power Cables series. As a pre-assembled connection element, it transmits drive power from a controller to synchronous or asynchronous motors within automated machinery. Using matched connectors and insulation dimensions, the cable supports repetitive motion axes where reliable energy delivery is required. Its purpose is to provide a direct link between the drive output and the motor without field assembly of the terminations. It fits directly into compatible Rexroth drive systems, which helps reduce wiring mistakes on conveyor, gantry, and packaging lines.

The RKL4312 is a Ready-Made assembly, so the conductor cores, shielding, and jacket are supplied as a finished cable set. At the motor end, it terminates with a Plug Connector RLS1201, while the inverter side uses a Plug Connector RLS1202. For stationary routing, the minimum bend radius is 5xD, and during continuous motion the dynamic limit is 7.5xD. These keyed housings lock mechanically and provide the required creepage distances for high-current phases. This arrangement supports consistent fit and electrical contact when the cable is routed through cabinets or motion systems.

The cable has a life rating of 5,000,000 flex cycles, allowing use in high-speed pick-and-place or palletizer axes. As a Power Cable, it focuses on low conductor resistance and a ground reference rather than feedback pairs. Thermal limits extend from -30 °C at the lowest approved condition to 80 °C for operating and storage environments. This range helps the jacket remain flexible in colder areas while maintaining dielectric strength in warmer process zones.
