RKL4310 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The RKL4310 motor power cable is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the RKL Motor Power Cables series. Designed to link an IndraDrive or comparable servo amplifier to a matched synchronous motor, the assembly carries three-phase power together with auxiliary signals through one pre-terminated harness. It mates to the motor side through an RLS1200 flange socket, making it suitable for automated machinery cells that benefit from organized cable routing. By combining motor and control conductors in one assembly, it helps reduce separate cable runs between the cabinet and the moving axis.

The cable body measures 14.8 mm in diameter, which provides room for 4x2.5 mm² power conductors and 2x(2x0.75) mm² control pairs that carry brake release or temperature signals. A total shield surrounds the internal elements to reduce conducted and radiated noise when the cable is routed near feedback lines or other control wiring. The conductor insulation can tolerate up to 80 °C, so continuous current flow does not reduce dielectric strength under typical cabinet conditions. Factory-crimped Plug Connector RLS1201 is fitted on the drive side, and Plug Connector RLS0723 is fitted on the motor side to keep polarity consistent, while the cable remains halogen-free and oil-resistant for industrial environments.

For moving-axis installations, the design is rated for 5,000,000 bending cycles when flexed inside an energy chain. The outer jacket is made of PUR (orange RAL 2003), which offers abrasion resistance and stands up to cutting fluids during machine operation. In fixed installation, the minimum bend radius is 5xD, and during dynamic motion it must not be smaller than 7.5xD to help protect the shield and conductor geometry. The RKL4310 uses bulk cable type INK0602 to support those mechanical limits while preserving stable electrical performance during repeated movement.
