RKL4307 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The RKL4307 is a ready-made power cable produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It is supplied as a factory-terminated line that links an IndraDrive servo controller to a corresponding synchronous motor, delivering phase current, protective earth, and auxiliary sensor supply in automated axes. By providing pre-assembled plugs and predictable mechanical properties, the cable helps maintain consistent electrical characteristics inside a machine cabinet. In material-handling cells, packaging machines, and gantry stages, the assembly routes power while accommodating continuous motion.

On the power side, the three main conductors have a cross section of 1.5 mm², supporting continuous phase current for standard IndraDrive servo motors, while the auxiliary core is sized at 0.75 mm² to feed holding brake or sensor circuits without unnecessary bulk. The controller end is fitted with an RLS0721/K02 plug and the raw cable used is type INK0650, so the shielding and jacket material are matched to drive emissions and oil-resistance requirements. Under dynamic motion, the assembly may flex around a minimum radius of 7.5xD, allowing tight cable-chain routing without exceeding copper strain limits.

Service life is rated for 5,000,000 flex cycles in festoon or drag-chain layouts, which meets the duty demands of pick-and-place axes that operate around the clock. The motor end uses an RLS1201/C03 connector that locks with standard RKS servo interfaces and seals the jacket against coolant ingress. When the installation is stationary, the cable can be bent to a radius of 5xD, giving more leeway during cabinet routing than the moving condition. For long-term storage, materials tolerate ambient temperatures from -30 to 80 °C, which helps prevent jacket cracking or conductor oxidation before the cable is placed in service.
