RKL4306 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The RKL4306 is a ready-made motor power cable produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It links an Indramat drive controller to a servo motor, carrying three-phase power together with separate brake and control conductors so the automation system can command motion and hold position without extra field wiring. The assembly is built from INK0650 bulk cable and comes preterminated for direct use. Connector RLS1201/C03 is fitted at the motor end, while RLS0722/K02 is fitted at the controller side, so the cable mates with standard Indramat interfaces without manual crimping or open-ended termination.

The cable supports 5,000,000 bending cycles for continuous motion in drag chains and other repetitive machine routes. Flexibility during movement is maintained with a minimum dynamic bend radius of 7.5 × D, while fixed routing permits a tighter static bend without placing unnecessary stress on the conductor bundle. There are 4 brake and control cores, and each of those conductors has a cross-sectional area of 0.75 mm². The main power conductors have a cross-sectional area of 1.5 mm², which keeps the power path separate from the auxiliary lines used for brake or control functions. The ready-made construction also shortens installation work inside the machine.

The cable maintains electrical and mechanical integrity from -30 °C to 80 °C, so it can be installed in chilled storage areas as well as warm machine enclosures. The power section uses 3 phase conductors to support balanced line-to-line delivery from the drive to the motor during normal operation. A GNYE protective conductor provides a dedicated path for fault current and supports grounding continuity along the cable run. The drag-chain design and insulated conductor layout help the assembly remain stable during repeated flexing, and the separated auxiliary cores allow brake or related control circuits to run in the same cable jacket as the motor power lines.
