The RKL4304 cable is manufactured within the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It is a prefabricated three-conductor line that delivers drive output to servo motors in automated machinery. With fixed terminations and calibrated conductor geometry, the cable reduces installation time and maintains consistent impedance between the drive controller and motor. The assembly carries phase current and protective earth to moving axes while withstanding continuous flexing inside cable carriers.

During operation, the cable is rated for 5,000,000 flex cycles, which indicates how many repeated bend events it can withstand before conductor fatigue becomes critical. When the cable is routed through an energy chain, the minimum dynamic loop is 7.5 x D, meaning the bend radius must be at least seven and a half times the outer diameter to avoid overstressing the insulation. In static placements outside a carrier, a reduced minimum of 5 x D is acceptable because long-term stresses are lower. The conductor insulation remains pliable from -30 °C up to 80 °C, so temperature-controlled machines, ovens, and refrigerated packaging lines can use the same interconnection without supplemental thermal shielding. These limits help maintain dielectric strength and prevent jacket embrittlement or softening during daily duty cycles.

The RKL4304 is supplied as a ready-made assembly and is categorized as a power cable, so no field crimping or ferruling is required. Its basic design level includes molded strain reliefs that match the keyed circular plug set. Side A terminates in the RLS1101 connector, while side B uses the mating RLS1102 connector for direct connection to compatible drive power modules and the corresponding motor housing. These factory-installed interfaces help maintain shielding continuity across the ground screen, and the keyed connectors keep conductor phasing aligned between the drive and motor.
