RKL4302 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The RKL4302 motor power cable is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as a member of the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It is intended to link a Rexroth controller to its matching servo motor while tolerating continuous motion inside cable tracks or robotic joints. The cable carries drive power and auxiliary conductors so that automated axes receive steady voltage and related signals without separate harnessing in compact industrial assemblies.

At the core of the design is a circular jacket that measures 12.0 mm in overall diameter, providing space for the power leads, each with a cross-section of 1.0 mm², and for an auxiliary pair sized at 0.75 mm². These copper conductors are rated for up to 600 V, so the assembly can support standard 400 V class inverters without insulation upgrades. During continuous travel, the cable may bend to a minimum arc of 7.5 × D, and this dynamic limit keeps internal torsion within the elastic range of the jacket. Factory termination uses the pre-fitted RLS0722/K01 connector on the controller side and the RLS1101/C02 plug at the motor end, and the construction follows bulk cable type INK0653 to match the required mechanical and thermal data.

For stationary routing inside cabinets or swing arms, the permissible curvature tightens to a static radius of 5 × D. Once installed, the conductor bundle withstands approximately 5 million flex cycles, supporting long service life in high-duty pick-and-place systems. Electrical losses are limited by a linear resistance of 19.5 ?/km, which helps keep voltage drop low over typical cable sets. The outer sheath is molded from PUR, giving abrasion resistance, oil tolerance, and flame retardancy while preserving flexibility at low temperatures. The jacket also helps the cable move smoothly through carriers and resist surface wear during repeated motion.
