RKL4301 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The RKL4301 cable is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It is supplied as a factory-terminated power lead that routes drive output to synchronous motors in automated handling modules, gantries, and material-flow equipment. Its purpose is to carry motor power through moving machine sections where consistent electrical performance is important. Because the assembly is delivered in a fixed length with matched conductor geometry, it can be installed without field termination and it keeps the end connections consistent with the intended mating hardware.

This model belongs to the Basic design level and is classified as a ready-made cable in the Power Cable variant. Mechanical service life is rated for 5,000,000 flex cycles when the cable is used in an energy chain. During motion, the cable can be bent to a minimum dynamic radius of 7.5xD, while fixed routing allows a tighter minimum static radius of 5xD. Those bend limits help reduce conductor fatigue and jacket stress during repeated travel. The Basic construction uses a polyester braid, PVC jacket, and filling materials that keep the cable compact and light for moving applications.

Connections are made through a motor-side Plug Connector RLS1101 and a drive-side Plug Connector RLS0721, and both molded interfaces use quarter-turn bayonet locking to maintain contact integrity under vibration. The permissible ambient temperature range extends from -30 °C during cold starts to 80 °C in continuous operation, and the same limits also apply during storage before installation. Using dedicated motor-side and drive-side connectors keeps the connection points clear, and the molded ends help the assembly stay secure during repetitive machine motion. The temperature range supports storage, startup, and normal operation without changing the basic routing approach.
