RKL4300 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The RKL4300 is a motor power cable manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and supplied as part of the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It links an IndraDrive or comparable controller to a synchronous or asynchronous servo motor, carrying phase current along with auxiliary control lines used for brake release and monitoring. The cable is intended for continuously moving cable chains in industrial automation cells where tight routing, repeated flexing, and consistent electrical performance are required.

The cable is rated for 5 million bending cycles, which makes it suitable for long-life drag-chain service. Its outer sheath measures 12.2 mm in diameter, helping it fit energy-chain carriers without taking unnecessary space. During motion, the cable must maintain a minimum bending radius of 7.5 × D, where D is the outer diameter, to reduce stress on the conductors. Four tinned copper power cores are paired with signal conductors that use a 0.75 mm² cross-section, so brake or sensor circuits can run inside the same jacket. The motor winding conductors are rated for up to 600 V AC, which matches typical inverter output levels. Factory-installed connectors RLS0722/K02 on the controller side and RLS1101/C01 on the motor side remove the need for field crimping and help keep the cable assembly consistent.

When the machine is stationary, the cable may be routed with a tighter bend of 5 × D, which supports compact installation paths. The main power conductors use a 1.5 mm² copper cross-section to balance current capacity and flexibility in servo loops up to eight meters. The bulk cable designator is INK0650, which makes the assembly easier to identify in wiring documentation. Its outer jacket is finished in RAL 2003 orange, giving the cable high visibility in dense cable runs and along machine frames.
