RKL0100 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The RKL0100 is a flexible motor cable produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the RKL Motor Power Cables series. Designed for dynamic machine axes, the assembly links a drive amplifier to its synchronous motor, carrying phase current and protective grounding through a shielded core set. Its pre-terminated design shortens installation time and helps maintain consistent electrical continuity in industrial robots, gantries, and other automated stations. Because the cable carries motor power in moving applications, jacket flexibility and shielding help support stable drive operation when axes accelerate, decelerate, and reverse direction.

Mechanical endurance is supported by a rated life of 5,000,000 bending cycles, so the cable can withstand repeated flexing in an energy chain over long operating periods. Because the product is supplied as a ready-made harness, users do not need to strip insulation or crimp contacts. They can connect the RLS1101 motor-side connector to the machine and engage the cabinet-side RLS0746 plug. During motion, the jacket must not be bent tighter than a dynamic radius of 7.5 × D. After routing is fixed in place, the permissible static bend radius is 5 × D, which supports compact placement inside control enclosures. A controlled bend path also helps reduce stress at the connector entries and along the conductor bundle.

The cable uses the Basic construction layout of the series and is identified as the power cable variant, so its core arrangement is intended for three-phase power transmission rather than feedback or brake conductors. This layout suits installations where motor power is the only cable function required on the route. Ambient temperatures may fall to -30 °C during startup or storage and may rise to 80 °C in continuous operation. That range supports use in unconditioned storage areas as well as heated production spaces. The same temperature span also applies while the assembly is kept in inventory, so storage handling remains straightforward across the product life cycle.
