The RKL0097 motor power cable is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It is a preassembled line that carries three-phase output from an IndraDrive power stage to a compatible synchronous or induction motor in automated machinery, reducing loose field wiring at the machine and keeping the power path consistent from drive to motor. The cable is intended for cable-chain routing and supports the repeated motion commonly found in pick-and-place gantries, transfer units, and other handling modules where flexible movement is required.

For continuous motion, the cable is rated for 5 million bending cycles, so it can flex in energy chains without premature conductor fatigue. It arrives as a ready-made assembly, with terminations already fitted at both ends. This format keeps connector geometry consistent and avoids added field assembly at the point of installation. The basic cable model uses a standard PVC jacket suited to typical indoor industrial settings. Functionally, it is a power cable, so the conductor size and insulation spacing are intended for motor phase current. The drive end uses an RLS1201 (M40 9-Pin Power) plug, while the motor side uses an RLS0725 receptacle; the matched connectors maintain shielding continuity and provide strain relief during motion.

When routed through moving tracks, the cable requires a dynamic minimum bend radius of 7.5 × D, where D is the outer diameter. Fixed cabinet runs may use a tighter static bend radius of 5 × D without raising conductor stress. The thermal range extends from 80 °C on the high end to -30 °C at cold start, allowing use near heat-producing equipment as well as in unheated storage or installation areas.
