The RKL0091 cable assembly is a power-supply lead produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat in the RKL Motor Power Cables series. Within an automation cell, this pre-terminated lead links a servo drive to the motor's power terminals, providing a prepared conductor set that reduces panel wiring time and helps minimize termination errors during installation. By supplying a ready-to-install power run matched to the associated RKL motor group, the cable supports electromagnetic compatibility and helps ensure that current, voltage, and shielding needs are met without on-site fabrication. Its preassembled format also helps maintain consistent routing and connector fit across the drive-to-motor connection.

The cable is intended for continuous motion. Its jacket and conductor bundle withstand 5,000,000 cycles of flexing in an energy chain before fatigue becomes critical. Dynamic routing is limited to a bend radius of 7.5 × D, where D is the outer diameter, so moving axes can be laid out with the correct cable path. When the cable is secured to a fixed framework, the minimum loop can be reduced to 5 × D because the installation sees less strain. The assembly ships as a ready-made unit with both ends factory terminated. Its thermal rating permits conductor temperatures up to 80 °C during sustained load.

Low-temperature operation and storage are also considered. The cable can operate at temperatures down to -30 °C without embrittling the insulation, while storage is acceptable from that same lower limit up to 40 °C without accelerated aging. It is a Power Cable variant, so only the three-phase motor conductors and protective earth are included, which helps avoid signal cross-talk inside the sheath. Because it carries only motor power conductors, the assembly is suited to applications where feedback and control signals are routed through separate cables. This arrangement maintains consistent conductor geometry and insulation chemistry to support stable impedance and dependable power transfer during repeated motion.
