RKL0072 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The RKL0072 flexible cable is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as part of the RKL Motor Power Cables series. This product is a composite motor power cable that carries three-phase power along with control and auxiliary circuits between an IndraDrive or similar amplifier and a synchronous motor in automated cells. Its design supports continuous motion in cable chains so that motors mounted on moving axes receive stable power and feedback without unplanned downtime.

Each phase conductor in the cable has a cross-section of 10.0 mm², providing the current capacity required for medium-power servo drives. Separate control cores are sized at 1.5 mm², and auxiliary cores measure 1.0 mm², allowing brake release or encoder supply lines to share the same sheath while remaining electrically isolated. The overall bundle diameter of 22.2 mm keeps the cable compact for tight routing paths, and the matte, adhesion-free PUR jacket resists oil, abrasion, and weld spatter. Rated insulation supports up to 300/500 V on the power conductors, while the dedicated control circuit is approved for 300/300 V so low-level signals remain protected. A longitudinal discharge capacity of 1.0 nF/m is included to help manage high-frequency switching edges generated by modern PWM inverters.
