The RKL0070 dynamic motor power cable is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as part of the RKL Motor Power Cables series. Intended for servo axes that travel inside drag chains, the cable carries the main three-phase supply and auxiliary low-power circuits between a drive amplifier and its motor. By maintaining consistent conductor geometry under motion, it supports precise current regulation in automated handling, printing, and machining systems where constant flexing is unavoidable.

The cable is rated for 5,000,000 bending cycles, indicating how many flex motions it can endure before conductor fatigue becomes critical. During each bend, a minimum dynamic radius of 7.5xD is required, which limits mechanical stress on the copper cores and the PUR jacket. Current-carrying capacity is determined by the composite core set 4x6.0 + 2x(2x1.0) + 2x1.5 mm², a layout that provides three power phases, two twisted signal pairs, and a protective ground pair in one sheath. For plant power grids, the assembly withstands 600 V AC, and the circular profile remains compact because of its overall diameter of 18.5 mm, which simplifies routing through narrow carrier links.

Electrical performance also includes a conductor resistance of 3.30 ?/km, which limits voltage drop over long travel axes. At the drive end, the factory-installed clamp box RLK3101 provides screw terminals, while the motor side is fitted with the keyed power plug RLS0723 for quick connection. The measured mutual capacitance is 0.8 nF/m, a low value that reduces reactive charging currents and helps the servo drive meet EMC limits during rapid PWM switching. The orange RAL 2003 PUR outer jacket is adhesion-free and matte so debris does not stick, and the cable is approved for drag chain use to maintain flexibility inside automated carriers.
