RKL0069 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The RKL0069 cable is part of the RKL Motor Power Cables series manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat. Designed for industrial automation cells, the cable supplies drive power while also carrying low-level control leads, allowing coordinated motion between the drive controller and the connected motor. Its construction supports dynamic routing in energy-chain systems and maintains electrical integrity where continuous bending and electromagnetic interference are common. A factory-installed clamp box RLK3101 on the drive side and a plug connector RLS0721 on the motor side simplify installation.

This motor cable has a nominal outer diameter of 18.5 mm, so cable troughs and glands can be sized with limited clearance. During motion, its copper core and PUR jacket tolerate repeated curves down to a dynamic bend of 7.5 × D, while static routing in control cabinets can follow a tighter 5 × D arc. The sheath is molded from PUR, offering abrasion resistance and oil tolerance typical of machine-tool environments. A total shield around both the four power conductors and the auxiliary pairs reduces radiated noise and protects nearby low-level wiring. Control conductors are provided as two 1.0 mm² cores and two 1.5 mm² cores for brake release or temperature sensing.

Mechanical service life is rated for 5,000,000 flex cycles when the cable operates within the minimum loop length, and the conductor insulation remains stable up to 80 °C under continuous motion. Four power cores sized at 4 × 6.0 mm² carry the three-phase supply and protective earth, matching typical drive outputs up to 40 A. The cable is built on the INK0604 bulk platform, providing consistent electrical parameters across cut lengths. Its orange RAL 2003 outer layer improves visibility along machine frames, and the pre-installed connectors avoid field crimping during installation.
