The RKL0068 is a motor power cable manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and supplied within the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It is intended for fixed or continuously moving cable tracks where servo drives must transfer three-phase power to synchronous or asynchronous motors. The cable's geometry and insulation system are selected so that motion platforms, gantries, and other automated axes can run at high cycle counts without conductor breakage or electromagnetic interference.

The cable endures 5,000,000 bending cycles in drag-chain operation, indicating suitability for long-term dynamic use. A dynamic bend radius of 7.5 × D limits tensile stress during motion, while a static radius of 5 × D applies when the routing is fixed; together these values set the minimum spacing needed inside carrier channels. The jacket is colored RAL 2003 (orange), ensuring quick visual identification in control cabinets and machine frames. Its outer sheath uses PUR (adhesion-free, matte) material that resists cutting oils, welding sparks, and abrasion, and the surface finish prevents neighboring cables from sticking inside densely packed chains. The design is rated for drag-chain use, so internal conductors are stranded for flexibility and the sheath compound withstands repeated compression.

A conductor resistance of 4.95 ?/km at 20 °C limits voltage drop over typical motor loop lengths, and the low-dielectric design provides only 0.8 nF/m of discharge capacitance, reducing reactive current in high-frequency inverter pulses. The insulation system is rated for up to 600 V AC under UL regulations. When fixed, the wire can operate at +90 °C; in continuous flexing motion, the limit is +80 °C to maintain polymer life. Power cores use a cross-section of 4.0 mm², supplying adequate ampacity for medium-frame servo motors while staying pliable enough for tight dynamic routing.
