RKL0067 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The RKL0067 is a motor power cable produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It links servo drives to rotary motors and transfers three-phase power while maintaining electromagnetic compatibility inside automated machinery. With factory-installed connectors and a polyurethane outer jacket, the cable is intended for moving machine sections such as gantries, pick-and-place axes, and handling robots where continuous motion requires high mechanical endurance. It also supports repeated flexing without interrupting power delivery to the motor.

The polyurethane sheath is formulated as PUR (adhesion-free, matte), so lubricants and weld spatter do not bond to the surface and cleaning is easier. An outer diameter of 14.8 mm gives the assembly a moderate profile that fits standard drag-chain cavities without crowding adjacent hoses. Power conductors use a 2.5 mm² cross-section, providing the ampacity needed for typical low-to-medium frame Rexroth servo motors while limiting voltage drop over long runs. Factory termination uses a Clamp Box RLK3101 on the motor side and a Plug Connector RLS0721 on the drive side, and both housings include strain relief so tensile forces are not transferred to the copper strands. The matte orange jacket follows RAL 2003 color coding for clear identification among feedback and brake cables.

The cable is rated for 5 million bending cycles, aligning with high-duty linear axes that operate around the clock. When routed through energy chains, it tolerates a dynamic bend radius of 7.5 × D, while stationary loops may be formed down to 5 × D without conductor damage. A conductor resistance of 7.98 ohm/km limits I²R losses, and a capacitance of 0.7 nF/m helps limit common-mode noise between phases and ground. Because it is suitable for drag-chain use, the PUR jacket and fine-strand copper remain compliant during rapid acceleration and reversing strokes.
