RKL0066 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The RKL0066 cable is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and belongs to the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It serves as a flexible power link between a drive controller and its motor in automated equipment, supporting both stationary cabinet wiring and moving drag-chain runs. By combining power and signal conductors under one sheath, the product simplifies routing inside compact machine frames and keeps harness layouts consistent across multiple motion axes. This arrangement also reduces the number of separate cables that must be routed between the cabinet and the motor.

The cable endures 5,000,000 bending cycles, making it suitable for high-duty dynamic axes. When installed in energy chains, it follows a 7.5 × D dynamic bending radius that protects the stranded copper cores, while fixed sections may be routed at a tighter 5 × D static radius. The conductor resistance is 19.5 ?/km at 20 °C, limiting voltage drop over long lengths, and the overall shield has a capacitance of 0.6 nF/m, which helps control coupling noise to adjacent cables. The RAL 2003 (orange) outer jacket improves visibility on the machine, and the polyurethane material withstands oils, coolants, and abrasion without stiffening over time.

The PUR sheath remains flexible enough for drag-chain use, and a halogen-free formulation limits corrosive fumes during a fire. Continuous operation is allowed up to 90 °C conductor temperature, enabling installation near warm servomotors without premature aging. Separate insulation systems assign a control-core rating of 300/300 V and a main-power rating of 300/500 V, so brake release lines and three-phase supply can share the same cable without dielectric interference. This cable is suitable for packaging machines, pick-and-place gantries, and other automated stations that demand frequent motion and reliable power delivery.
