RKL0064 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The RKL0064 motor power cable is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and belongs to the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It is used for fixed-to-moving connections between Rexroth drive controllers and synchronous motors in automated production cells, carrying three-phase power together with auxiliary control signals while withstanding repetitive flexing inside energy-chain assemblies. By using pre-assembled connectors, the cable supports consistent electrical performance during continuous machine cycles and simplifies routing where repeated motion is required. This makes it suitable for machine layouts in which the cable must move with the axis without interrupting power delivery or signal transfer.

This cable has a mechanical life of 5,000,000 bending cycles and tolerates torsional displacement of ±180°/30 cm, allowing rotation and linear travel without premature conductor fatigue. When routed in motion systems, the minimum dynamic loop is 7.5 x D; for stationary runs, the radius can be reduced to 5 x D. Four power conductors each have a cross-sectional area of 35.0 mm², supporting current levels appropriate for its 300 V insulation class. Two control cores of 1.5 mm² carry brake or temperature-related signals, keeping auxiliary functions separate from the main motor supply. Drag-chain compatibility and a halogen-free jacket help reduce mechanical wear and limit corrosive smoke in enclosed equipment.

Connection integrity is supported by the controller-side RLS0750 plug and the motor-side RLK1301 plug, both factory-crimped to reduce wiring errors and maintain stable contact quality. The cable is halogen-free, so combustion gases remain lower in corrosive content when the assembly is installed near sensitive equipment. Two control wires and four power wires are arranged concentrically to balance bending stress, while the 1.5 mm² auxiliary conductors are separated from the power group to reduce crosstalk. The outer sheath is suitable for drag-chain motion, and the cable layout supports applications in multi-axis equipment where repeated pivoting and translation are part of normal operation.
