The RKL0063 cable is supplied by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as part of the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It is a flexible motor lead that links servo drives to synchronous or induction motors in automated machinery, carrying three-phase power and auxiliary control signals through a single jacketed assembly. By integrating the power cores and paired sense wires, the product simplifies routing inside cabinets and along moving axes, reducing wiring complexity in industrial automation lines. That arrangement also reduces the number of separate cable runs that need to pass through energy chains and cabinet exits.
At the core of this model is bulk cable type INK0653, a designation for the insulation system and stranding class chosen for continuous-motion duty. The conductor layout of 4x1.0 + 2x(2x0.75) mm² separates three power phases, a protective ground, and four twisted signal wires, limiting crosstalk between high- and low-voltage circuits. Line-to-line capacitance is held to 0.6 nF/m, a value that helps drive inverters maintain pulse-width-modulated voltage integrity over extended runs. The conductor resistance is 19.5 ohms/km, which helps control I²R losses during operation. Each signal pair uses a control-wire section of 0.75 mm², which is large enough for brake release or reference functions while still fitting within compact connectors.
The assembly supports a phase-to-phase operating voltage of 600 V AC, allowing it to feed standard low-voltage motor windings without auxiliary conduit. A nominal diameter of 12.0 mm helps keep bend radii manageable, and the oil-resistant sheath is molded from PUR, a thermoplastic elastomer that withstands weld spatter and coolant splash. The bright Orange (RAL 2003) jacket improves visibility in busy drag-chain tracks where the cable is intended for continuous motion. Its outer jacket also helps the cable remain easy to identify in dense machine layouts, and the flexible construction supports repeated travel on moving axes without separating power and auxiliary wiring into multiple runs. This is useful on compact equipment where cable carriers, motor connectors, and service loops must share a narrow installation space.
