RKL0062 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The RKL0062 motor power cable is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It delivers three-phase power and auxiliary signals between Indramat servo drives and synchronous motors in machinery where stable electrical transmission supports accurate motion. The cable combines power cores and control pairs within one jacket, which helps conserve installation space and keeps connector routing orderly in industrial automation cabinets and drag-chain applications. As a preassembled component, it fits directly to Rexroth motor connectors and reduces on-site wiring time.

The cable uses the composite conductor layout [4x4.0mm²+(2x1.0mm²)StC+(2x1.5mm²)StC]. Each of the four power cores has a cross-section of 4.0 mm², which helps limit voltage drop and thermal rise when the motor draws continuous current. DC loop resistance is 4.95 Ohm/km, so longer cable runs can increase power loss during operation. The insulation system has a mutual capacitance of 0.8 nF/m, which helps the inverter deliver clean switching edges without excessive reactive current. An outside diameter of 17.0 mm helps determine the size of cable glands, clamps, and chain troughs. Combining these conductors in one assembly allows motor power and auxiliary lines to be routed together instead of through separate cables.

The mechanical profile supports repetitive motion in moving cable paths. A dynamic bend radius of 7.5xD helps prevent copper work-hardening during repeated motion, while the static bend limit of 5xD applies to fixed routing in cabinets. The jacket is colored RAL 2003 (Orange), which makes the cable easier to distinguish from signal wiring. Its outer sheath is made of PUR (adhesion-free, matte), giving abrasion resistance and a surface that slides smoothly in guides without sticking. The cable is approved for use in drag chains and is suitable for indexing tables, gantry axes, and other applications with repeated travel.
