RKL0054 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The RKL0054 is a motor power cable manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for use in the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It links an Indramat drive controller to a servo motor, supplying three-phase power and auxiliary control lines within automated machinery. The cable is intended for dynamic routing in material-handling gantries, pick-and-place systems, and other installations that demand continuous flexing inside drag chains.

Its outer sheath measures 12.2 mm in diameter, which helps with conduit and carrier sizing. The minimum bend radius during static routing is 5 × D, while motion applications require a larger minimum bend radius of 7.5 × D; these limits help protect the conductor bundle from copper fatigue. Power-core resistance is specified at 13.3 ?/km, which helps estimate voltage drop over long cable runs. Four control pairs share the same sheath, and each conductor has a cross-section of 0.75 mm², allowing brake release or temperature signals to travel beside the main phases without extra cabling. The design supports drag-chain service, and its matte, adhesion-free PUR jacket reduces dust buildup and resists cutting oils. Four power conductors and four control pairs are laid concentrically to support balanced flexing.

The power cores have a cross-section of 1.5 mm², allowing 300/500 V continuous duty and up to 600 V AC when coordinated with drive filters. A molded controller plug of type RLS0749/K02 locks to IndraDrive or Diax amplifiers, while the motor side terminates in a keyed RLS1301/C02 connector that seals against IP-rated stator housings. The control pairs have a 300/300 V rating and tolerate the same 600 V peak as the power set, allowing common routing through machine trays. The jacket is colored RAL 2003 (orange) to mark high-voltage content and make the cable easy to identify.
