RKL0052 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The RKL0052 motor power cable is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as part of the RKL Motor Power Cables series. Designed for servo drive applications, the assembly routes mains power and auxiliary voltages between an IndraDrive controller and a Rexroth motor during continuous machine operation. Its molded connectors and high-flex outer jacket let it move with cable chains or robotic joints while maintaining stable electrical performance in packaging lines, pick-and-place cells, and multi-axis machining centers. The cable is intended for repeated motion where power delivery and auxiliary signaling must remain reliable as the axis travels.

The cable contains 3 power conductors dedicated to phase current, and each conductor has a cross-section of 2.5 mm² for continuous motor load. On the cabinet end, a keyed RLS0749/K03 plug terminates the power cores, and a matching RLS1201/C03 connector mates with the motor housing. This factory-crimped construction removes the need for field assembly and helps keep termination quality consistent. For fixed routing, the cable requires a minimum bend radius of 5 × D, so it can be installed in compact panels without overstressing the jacket. The assembly uses bulk cable code INK0602, which matches the insulation materials and shield structure used for this cable type.

Dynamic motion zones require a minimum bend radius of 7.5 × D, and the jacket is rated for 5,000,000 flex cycles in drag-chain service. Operating and storage limits extend from -30 °C to 80 °C, so the insulation remains flexible in low-temperature environments and stable under normal cabinet heat. Four auxiliary conductors with a combined cross-section of 1.0 mm² carry brake release or sensor supply lines, and they are isolated from the power trio to reduce crosstalk during motion. This separation supports clean transmission of auxiliary signals alongside the motor power conductors.
