RKL0050 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

Bosch Rexroth Indramat's RKL0050 belongs to the RKL Motor Power Cables series and is used on moving machine elements in automated production lines. The assembly acts as the power link between a drive amplifier and a matched motor, carrying three-phase power together with auxiliary conductors during constant motion. Its pre-terminated ends simplify routing in cable tracks and articulated robot arms, where repeated travel can place continuous stress on the cable body. This layout helps the cable remain suitable for motion systems that depend on stable electrical continuity through ongoing flexing.

Bending endurance is rated for 5,000,000 flex cycles, indicating long service life in continuous-flex applications. During motion, the minimum bend radius is 7.5 x D, while fixed routing permits a tighter bend radius of 5 x D. With an external diameter of 12.2 mm, the cable fits standard energy-chain separators without crowding adjacent lines. The outer sheath is made of PUR, which provides abrasion resistance, coolant tolerance, and low-halogen composition. That jacket also helps the cable withstand repeated contact inside drag chains while protecting the internal conductors from oil, welding spatter, and compression during movement.

At 20 °C, the copper conductors have a resistance of 13.3 ohms/km, supporting efficient current transfer across typical machine lengths. The power cores use a cross-section of 1.5 mm², and the integrated control pair uses 0.75 mm², so motor power and auxiliary functions can be routed in one assembly. Factory-mounted plugs, including type RLS1201/C02 on the drive side and RLS0749/K02 on the motor side, match the keyed housings used on Indramat servo equipment and remove the need for field crimping. The jacket color is RAL 2003 (orange), which makes the cable easier to identify in panels and drag chains. The assembly uses bulk cable reference INK0650 for this cable build.
