RKL0041 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The RKL0041 motor power cable is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It serves as the fixed connection between a drive controller cabinet and the attached synchronous servo motor in automated handling, packaging, or machining systems. By integrating three-phase power leads and auxiliary control conductors inside a single PUR-sheathed bundle, the cable reduces cabinet wiring time and preserves signal integrity in demanding industrial environments. This arrangement also lets power and auxiliary lines follow the same path from the cabinet to the motor, which helps keep routing organized in compact machine layouts.

The copper conductors follow the INK0605 bulk cable layout and are covered by a polyurethane jacket in plant-standard RAL 2003 orange. When routed in stationary trays, the assembly uses a minimum bend radius of 5 x D, while continuously moving energy-chain installations must keep at least 7.5 x D. An overall diameter of 22.2 mm simplifies clamp selection and conduit sizing. Three power cores each use a conductor area of 10.0 mm², enabling safe transmission of servo drive output up to 300/500 V without excessive voltage drop or thermal rise. Foil and braid shielding placed under the jacket attenuate electromagnetic interference produced by high-frequency inverter pulses.

The auxiliary pair that carries brake release or temperature signals has a cross-section of 1.0 mm² and insulation rated for 300/300 V. Factory-crimped contacts terminate on the controller side with the circular plug type RLS0721/K10 and on the motor side with the angled connector type RLK3101/K10. Both connectors lock with bayonet fasteners and provide 360-degree shield bonding. The conductor system tolerates continuous operation up to 90 °C, allowing placement near warm servo housings or inside tight panels without derating. The cable is intended for servo axes with repetitive motion and confined routing paths.
