RKL0039 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The RKL0039 motor power cable belongs to the RKL Motor Power Cables series produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat. It links an IndraDrive power stage to a synchronous motor in industrial automation systems. The assembly carries three-phase power, auxiliary 24 V lines, and a protective earth conductor in one compact precut cable. It is intended for factory-built cable routing where a precut length helps keep installation layouts consistent across machine axes.

The cable core is built on the INK0604 bulk design, which uses 6.0 mm² copper phase conductors to limit current density and reduce voltage drop. A matching 6.0 mm² green-yellow earth wire supports fault clearing, and two 1.0 mm² auxiliary cores are included for encoder or brake supply functions. Termination on the drive side uses the preinstalled Clamp Box RLK3101, which provides strain relief inside the cabinet. The PUR jacket has an outer diameter of 18.5 mm and uses a matte, adhesion-free finish that balances flexibility with mechanical protection. The pair-shielded layout keeps motor-side displacement current to 0.8 nF/m, allowing standard drive filters to meet EMC limits during operation. This conductor arrangement keeps motor power and low-voltage auxiliary supply within the same outer jacket.

The load end uses a keyed Plug Connector RLS0721 that mates directly to compatible Rexroth motor housings, and the keyed orientation helps prevent incorrect mating. For continuously moving cable tracks, the minimum bend radius is 7.5 × D, while fixed installation requires 5 × D to help limit conductor fatigue. The sheath is Orange (RAL 2003), which makes motor leads easy to identify and provides resistance to oils and coolants common in machine enclosures. The outer sheath retains visibility in dense cable routing and helps distinguish the motor power connection from other machine wiring. The PUR insulation also supports repeated motion in drag-chain, robot wrist, and gantry applications where the cable is exposed to frequent flexing.
