The RKL0037 power cable is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as part of the RKL Motor Power Cables series. Designed for fixed and moving motor connections in industrial automation, the cable carries three-phase power and auxiliary signals between a drive controller and a synchronous servo motor. Its construction supports frequent motion inside cable tracks, allowing machine tools, handling systems, and packaging lines to maintain electrical continuity while axes accelerate and decelerate. By combining motor power conductors and auxiliary lines in one outer jacket, it also reduces the number of separate cable runs needed along a moving axis.

The conductor set inside the cable includes three phase conductors and a protective earth conductor with a cross-section of 2.5 mm², while a separate auxiliary pair uses 1.0 mm² conductors for brake release or sensor functions. Rated for 600 V AC, the copper cores present a DC resistance of 7.98 ?/km at 20 °C, which helps limit voltage drop over long cable runs. The cable's capacitance toward ground is 0.7 nF/m, which helps predict reactive current in the drive system during switching operation. This combination supports stable motor operation during rapid load changes, and the fine-strand conductor design also improves flexibility during continuous motion.

The cable is suitable for energy-chain routing. An outer diameter of 14.8 mm fits standard carrier separators, and the outer jacket molded from PUR resists abrasion, coolants, and mineral oils while remaining flexible. For stationary installation, the cable may be bent to 5xD, whereas moving applications require a radius of 7.5xD; observing these limits helps protect the shield and conductors during repeated cycles. The bright orange sheath improves visibility in the machine area, and the cable is approved for use inside energy chains for dynamic motor power runs.
