RKL0035 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The RKL0035 cable is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and belongs to the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It is a dedicated motor power lead for servo and spindle drives in automated machines, where it links the controller output stages to the motor terminals during repeated axis movement. The cable is designed to move inside energy-guiding drag chains, so it preserves electrical continuity while the axis executes repetitive strokes or continuous travel. Its mechanical and electrical properties suit applications that require stable power delivery under constant flexing in automated equipment.

The conductor set follows a 4x0.75 + 2x0.5 mm² layout, providing four power cores and two auxiliary signal wires in one sheath. This arrangement is rated for 5 million bending cycles, so it can handle repeated motion in drag-chain service. Each copper strand can reach 80 °C during sustained current flow without degrading the insulation system. Factory-installed connectors simplify installation; motor-side termination uses type INS0751/C01, while drive-side termination uses the keyed INS0757/C01 plug. A polyurethane jacket surrounds the core bundle, and its orange color improves visibility in cable tracks. The PUR compound also resists oil, abrasion, and welding sparks, and the construction is suitable for drag chains without requiring a separate high-flex version.

During motion, mechanical stress is controlled by observing the minimum bending radii. In dynamic routing, the cable must not curve tighter than 7.5 × D, and when fixed in position, the static radius limit is 5 × D. With an overall diameter of 10.0 mm, these limits translate to predictable clearances inside guide channels and cabinet entries. The power cores are insulated for 600 V AC, allowing direct connection to standard inverter outputs. This combination supports use in automated handling, packaging, and machining modules where repeated cable movement is expected.
