The RKL0026 motor power cable is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and belongs to the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It is designed to deliver three-phase power from drive controllers to moving servo motors in automated machines, especially where the cable must travel inside an energy drag chain. The cable maintains stable electrical performance while enduring continuous motion, enabling reliable operation of axes in assembly cells, packaging lines, and other dynamic industrial automation tasks.

RKL0026 is certified for 5,000,000 drag-chain bending cycles, supporting long service life in high-duty machines. A dynamic minimum bend radius of 7.5 × D applies during motion, whereas the static condition allows a tighter 5 × D loop once the cable is fixed. It withstands peak path accelerations of 10 m/s², so the conductor insulation and shielding remain intact when axes start or stop abruptly. The cable diameter is 17.0 mm, which provides a clear guide for clamp selection and bend-radius calculations. Internally, each power core has a cross-section of 4.0 mm², providing adequate ampacity for typical medium-frame servo motors without excessive voltage drop. The orange jacket is coded RAL 2003, and it is suitable for drag-chain use to resist abrasion and micro-cracking during constant flexing.

For extended gantries, the cable tolerates a horizontal travel of 50 m, and it can move at up to 5 m/s while staying within the stated bending and acceleration limits. The jacketing compound is PUR (adhesion-free, matte), so chips and coolants do not stick and the surface can slide smoothly inside guide channels. This low-friction outer surface helps the cable move cleanly through guide systems during repeated travel, and it supports fast pick-and-place modules as well as long shuttle axes without requiring additional festoon systems.
