RKL0025 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The RKL0025 motor power cable is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the RKL Motor Power Cables series. Designed for servo axes and spindle drives, the assembly routes phase and protective-earth conductors from the drive controller to the machine-mounted motor. By combining factory-terminated connectors with a durable outer jacket, the cable simplifies installation in automated lines where continuous motion and tight routing spaces are common. Its preassembled layout also helps keep the motor connection path consistent in applications that rely on repeated travel and reliable power transfer.

Bending endurance is rated for 5 million cycles, indicating how many drag-chain movements the cable can handle before conductor fatigue becomes a concern. To protect the conductors during motion, the minimum moving bend radius is 7.5 x D, where D is the cable diameter. When the cable is installed in a fixed position, the allowable bend radius can be reduced to 5 x D to save enclosure space without overstressing the cores. The cable has an outer diameter of 14.8 mm, which helps when selecting glands, separators, and routing hardware. It is approved for drag-chain use, and the drive side uses Clamp Box RLK1201 while the motor side uses Plug Connector RLS0747.

Electrical losses are limited by a conductor resistance of 7.98 ohms/km, which helps reduce voltage drop over longer cable runs. The cable mass is 0.380 kg/m, giving a practical value for moving-cable load calculations in dynamic axes. Its outer jacket is made of PUR with a matte, adhesion-free finish that resists oil and coolant splash while moving smoothly through carrier links. For thermal operation, the copper conductors can reach 90 °C in fixed routing and must be limited to 80 °C during continuous flexing. These operating limits support stable use in multi-axis machinery where the cable must tolerate motion, heat, and industrial contamination without interrupting power delivery.
