RKL0022 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The RKL0022 cable is supplied by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as part of the RKL Motor Power Cables series. This pre-assembled lead links servo drives to synchronous motors, carrying both power and auxiliary control signals required for motion axes in automated machinery. Using a molded termination and graded conductors, the assembly simplifies cabinet wiring while maintaining the flexibility needed for dynamic routing inside cable chains.

Its chain-compatible design survives up to 5,000,000 flex cycles, which indicates the number of repeated bends the conductors can tolerate before fatigue. During movement, the cable must observe a minimum dynamic bend radius of 7.5 × D, and at rest it can be laid with a tighter static radius of 5 × D. The symbol D refers to the overall outer diameter, which for this model is 12.2 mm. Power conductors use a cross-section of 1.5 mm², while the paired control cores are sized at 0.75 mm², giving separate current-carrying capacity for motor phase lines and signal circuits. The assembly terminates with an RLS1201 connector on the motor side and an RLS0747 plug on the drive end, and both interfaces are factory crimped to reduce installation time. Internally, the conductors use INK0650 bulk cable.

Electrical insulation matches the working potential of each circuit. The phase cores are rated for up to 300/500 V, allowing three-phase supplies for low-power servomotors, while the auxiliary pairs carry signals at a maximum of 300/300 V. A halogen-free, abrasion-resistant PUR outer jacket shields the bundle from oils and coolant splashes commonly found in machining cells. The cable can be routed inside moving energy tracks without external conduit when ambient temperature and chemical exposure remain within standard limits. Separate voltage classes also support organized routing alongside feedback or I/O lines inside shared trunking.
