RKL0019 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The RKL0019 is a motor power cable manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and supplied within the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It links servo drives to rotary motors in automated machinery, transmitting three-phase power and signal pairs in a single bundled line so installers can route one cable instead of separate power and feedback runs. This design minimizes cabinet space and simplifies maintenance while preserving the electromagnetic integrity required in high-speed positioning axes.

The cable core arrangement follows the hybrid layout 4x1.0 mm² + 2x(2x0.75 mm²)StC, combining four power conductors with two shielded twisted signal pairs to reduce crosstalk inside dynamic energy-chain applications. It withstands up to 5,000,000 flex cycles, supporting long service life on gantries or pick-and-place arms. Copper paths show a longitudinal resistance of 19.5 ?/km at 20 °C, a figure used when sizing drive fuses and determining voltage drop on extended runs. Each signal pair adds only 0.6 nF/m of capacitance, maintaining clear encoder pulses at typical servo carrier frequencies. For moving installations, the dynamic bend radius is limited to 7.5 × D, so routing troughs must allow loops of at least that dimension to avoid conductor fatigue. The control pairs use a cross-section of 0.75 mm², allowing low-current brake or sensor lines without exceeding the cable's overall diameter.

External properties support further handling requirements. The sheath is colored RAL 2003 orange to comply with common drive-cable identification codes, and its PUR jacket is adhesion-free and matte to glide smoothly through cable tracks while resisting oils and weld spatter. An outer diameter of 12.0 mm fits standard M23 power connectors, and static layouts can tighten bends down to 5 × D when the cable is clamped in place. The cable is suited for compact motors in conveyors, delta robots, and light-duty packaging stations.
