RKL0018 by Bosch Rexroth Indramat

The Bosch Rexroth Indramat RKL0018 is a pre-assembled motor power cable in the RKL Motor Power Cables series. It links an IndraDrive controller to a compatible servo motor so that phase, protective earth, and feedback conductors reach the motor without field crimping. In automated machinery, this factory-terminated lead simplifies installation, preserves shielding continuity, and supports dynamic axes where repeated flexing occurs. It is suited for cable chains, gantries, and other moving assemblies where stable routing and secure end connections are required.

Mechanical durability is supported by a flex life of 5,000,000 bending cycles, allowing repeated movement in energy-chain applications without early conductor fatigue. During motion, the cable must not be curved tighter than a 7.5 × D dynamic bending radius, because tighter routing increases internal stress and shortens service life. In fixed installations, the permitted curve can be reduced to a 5 × D static bending radius because the cable is not exposed to constant flexing. The operating temperature range extends from -30 °C to 80 °C, which supports use in cold areas as well as near warm drive enclosures when those limits are maintained.

The assembly uses bulk cable code INK0602, which matches the insulation and shield structure to Rexroth drive pulse voltages. At the controller end, a molded RLS0746/K03 plug connects directly to IndraDrive power terminals, while the motor end uses an angled RLS1201/C04 plug that fits MSK and MLP servomotor receptacles. A concentric protective earth conductor marked GNYE runs with the three phase conductors to maintain a low-impedance grounding path along the full cable length. This grounding path supports safe operation under high switching frequencies and helps control stray electrical noise around the motor cable run.
