It serves as the dedicated link that transfers drive output and auxiliary control signals from an Indramat controller to a synchronous servo motor, allowing coordinated motion in industrial automation cells, gantries, and processing lines. The cable's construction is intended for continuous-flex applications where repeated energy-chain movement occurs alongside positioning axes and conveyors. This arrangement allows motor power and supporting control signals to travel through one managed cable path, helping keep moving cable runs organized in compact machine layouts.

For dynamic use, the cable endures 5,000,000 bending cycles without conductor fatigue, a figure that supports long service intervals in high-duty machines. Its conductor bundle is built from the INK0650 bulk cable family, providing matched impedance and low capacitance for servo drive switching frequencies. Separate cores with a control wire cross-section of 0.75 mm² carry brake-release or sensor reference signals alongside the power group. The drive side terminates in a keyed RLS0746/K02 controller connector that locks to Indramat inverter modules and resists vibration.
